I. Principles of fire extinguishing

IG100 nitrogen fire extinguishing system adopts the principle of total flooding to reduce the oxygen concentration in the protected area from 21% to below 15%. When the oxygen concentration is lower than 15%, the fire will be suppressed due to the inability to maintain combustion.The amount of inert gas required to completely extinguish a fire is a design concentration based on room volume and fire hazard class. Once smoke and heat are detected, IG100 nitrogen stored in high pressure cylinders is automatically vented into the enclosed space through the dispensing piping and discharge nozzles within 60 seconds.
